There’s one thing you cannot fail to notice when you’re in India and that’s the bright and vividly decorated cargo trucks slowly pacing the roads.
This truck was making a stop on a service station somewhere between Goa and Ratnagiri and caught my eye. These decorated trucks are a source of fierce pride for their owners, and they all seem to try to outdo each other. They tend to move at snail pace and most times hugely overloaded. And whilst they don’t attain German or Japanese mechanical standards they do seem to get the job done moving cargos around the country. Just don’t get stuck behind one!
